Well bit of an update.

Not a huge amount done to the car.

I've swapped my old seats out for some Cobra ones I got for a bargain off a mate of mine.

I've also changed the side skirts. Still visage ones but Carbon ones I've had my eyes on for a good few years!
The lad I bought my original ones off had used them to mould the carbon ones, and now after a brief stint on robins old car they are mine!

Last job I've been doing is hunting for a new Clutch! The 1ggte solid flywheel is slightly different fit meant to the 1gfe one we found.
1ggte clutches are pretty rare and certainly when it comes to performance ones. Looking online I've found a certain year hilux one fit. Bute even that showed slip on the dyno so something else was needed!

After much research, and ordering and returning a couple of clutches to my local factors I found the 3sgte clutch fits!

So I ordered up a stage 3 6 paddle clutch and fitted it tonight. Work's beautifully. Can't recommend CG Motorsport enough for their service with getting it.

Well it's two weeks till JAE! What better to do than take the car apart!

I had som oil from the exhaust and cam cover on the way to jap performance show so looks like a bottom end rebuild may be in order after JAE. But I've bought a new ecu, I knew I shouldn't before JAE but I did.

So now I've jumped in with fitting it! Getting my new throttle flange welded on so I've taken the inlet manifold off for that, but also gives me better access to the majority of the engine loom to fit that.

Also fitting a catch can and crankcase breather/oil return whilst I'm doing it. It should be back together for JAE lol

Haha I will. Manifold is back tomorrow. If I get the time all should be back together by Monday.
Then programming, wiring internally, and fitting the catch can.
