I use Copaslip on the back of pads because.....
Mr Reman With time and heat it turns into something similar to set silicone bathroom sealant
..... And after that happens it's unlikely to migrate with heat and vibration onto anything important (Pad surface, Disc surface, ABS sensor, etc).

Air filter by K+N, Exhaust by Japspeed, Brakes by Mintex......... And a scuffed rear arch by my sister. Huh

Back on the topic of rewinding my pistons. I tried needle nosed pliers: didn't work, I tried mole grips: didn't work, I tried the Halfords caliper rewind tool: didn't work.

Then I just got a flat bit of metal and pushed against it using just my finger and thumb. Worked a treat!!

Moly grease innit.

Jim, you're not rewinding your pistons, you're just pushing them in. Rewinding is more complicated and you have to do that with cheap rear calipers that use the piston as the handbrake. They have a thread inside them so they have to be wound/turned rather than just pushed in. G-Clamps work well for pushing pistons in that don't need winding.

I imagine Lexus would be able to get your discs fairly quickly. I made an enquiry recently about LS400 discs and they had them on about half a days notice.
