someone did my ideal project a brand new Supra whereby everything is replaced with oem or uprated - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread....-Ground-Up except i would go with a 3.5ltr stroked engine from Titan and a Borg Warner Batmowheel S374 turbo

Honestly I don't know. If it were money no object I'd buy something that did what I wanted out of the box. Carrera GT, Zonda, etc.

I would love a Skyline R31 GTS-R but it would be sacrilege to modify it.

Er, a supercharged V8 RX7 in white with '99 spec body and carbon bits on it? Oh wait...

Right, I don't think many people are getting the point of this thread so here is the kind of ridiculousness that I'm on about:

Mid engined V10 fortune RX7, 6 rotor S15 silvia, 4wd v6 turbo K11 nissan micra.....

yes. I'm interested to see what kind of mental ideas are in peoples heads that if they had the resources they could just go "that would be cool to own, why not".

I am sorry Dan but that Supra build is ridiculous, Scrapping the car becuase there may have the 1 in 1000 chance that there was an accident as the chassis wasa tiny bit out of alignment. I have heard on **** retentive but thats taking it to new levels. He moaned about how much a new porsche was I bet he spent double that building that car.

Problem with custom cars no matter what any one says is deep down in your mind something is saying " If I bin this I am buggared as I will take ages to re-build".Which most of them are not driven or driven like pussys. I can totally symapthise with wanting some one off and have bragging rights etc. But the be all and end all of it is JUST GET OUT AND DRIVE IT. Does not matter what it is, respect the car enough to give it the time of day.

I agree it may have been excessive but if money were no object i'd still do it Big Grin to have effectively a 2013 supra would be awesome
