That will tell you anyother information :/
And windows 7 is good. Better than vista, better than XP, and it doesnt take a WHOLE lot of processing power. My system specs are above minimum :p
Can you try moving it to a cooler room for a bit to see if that helps ?
Did you double-check that all fans are spinning ok ? Including on the new PSU ?
Maybe not timbo. I just installed windows 7, i persumed it would find correct ones as it said it was finding them. And installed all the correct ones. Im guessing the only thing is, wait till it does it again, then see what the code means :/
thanks for help guys, and stevie, i dont think its overheating. The processor and Mobo temps seem fine :/
The temps might seem fine, but what is the PSU temp ? And is the motherboard definitely ok at that temp ?
What could be happening is you have a motherboard fault (e.g. bad solder joint), and at the normal temps in that room it's ok, but in this warmer weather it has been pushed over the edge. It might still be within the "normal" operating range for your motherboard, but showing up a problem.
GPU whatever that is , is running at 60C. I cant find a PSU temp, so ill try and move it when i have time, as i have exams soon :/. Ive also just found something really cool. Ive got the FULL VERSION of everest now, and it shows my PC Uptime etc. (I think its from then i installed W7 Last). It also says "Total Blue Screens : 0" but im guessing now i have the full version, if i get one, it will tell me what it is.
GPU is the graphics chip - whether that's on the motherboard or a separate card.
Good luck with the exams !
Separate card. I realised it was Graphics chip, just couldnt be bothered editing for another time ahah. 60 a bit high?
And thanks! . Suppose thats my priority now, and THEN sort pc for the next year of work (if i get back into college for 2nd year lol)
