Prob be better than mine mate mine looks **** loads of marks and lacquer drips going to phone him the morn I think but think am going to be pissing in the wind

Have you just washed them?? they still look wet....tell me that isnt how he left them??
could you maybe go over them with a cutting compound if you feel there that bad????

Yeah did wash then. The second one is the lacquer not good.there is loads of marks the face of them looks ok but not worth the £200 I payed the guy as he had not much sand blasting to do on them.

Being an ex spay-painter, i know that wheel spokes are the worst to do as you cant apply the amount you want each coat as it will run, so has to be built up with more lighter coats of paint, that's ok for colour, but lacquer needs to heavier, that's just the way it is. No excuse for the sandpaper marks and for not taking the time to even spray putty the pitted parts that were blasted.

Sorry i never saw your thread before, but there is a place in Inverurie that makes a nice job powdercoating, you have to get tyres off & grind / sand off any kerb marks youself as they only blast, spray putty & powdercoat, hope you get them re-done, or compensated to your liking Cameron.

Picked mines up yesterday and I'm over the moon with them.
Used a place called Custom Coatings but there north of the border
