Day time running lights
Day time running lights
In my brothers starlet, he had a set of day runners, and there was a little 6 pin block, where the windscreen wipers, and other things connected to each other, there was a wire which came on with the ignition, it may be no help to you in a Lexus, but what my dad used in fitting those.
Gord she wants them to come on with the ignition! :Chair:
Not turn off at night or turn off during the day, just, wants them to come on with the ignition!

In reply to your auto headlight sensor, all i was saying was a LDR works opposite to the auto light sensor, obviously some mod did not like it!
Sparkystav Your best bet as Rabster says is using a switched live in the ECU,
use the owners manual online to identify one.
No point using an LDR if she wants them on in the day

But Dean, they dim the DRL, so you can see the indicator better.
Ok, so i fitted a set to mine today and wired then up to the sidelights with a 500ma quick blow fuse to keep everything safe.
Will have a look at hers tomorrow and look at connecting them up to a live feed from the ecu so they come one with the ign, as she hardly drives at night and doesn't want the rear lights on as well!
So fitting them to the auto on lights is defeating the object....
