Smoking on cold start up
Smoking on cold start up
What you need to do Shahz, is shove a furball up the exhaust, clean out all that dust n grime each morning Then when you're done, start the car and watch said furball catapult across the road
Anees Shahz I would deffo try a thicker oil. I'd use 10w40; on an IS200 with 100k+ miles personally IMO 5w40 is a bit too thin and like you mentioned it could be seeping through the seals.

Will it catapult like your ping pong balls?!
Moley wasn't too impressed with car mechanics the witch way... sorry furball
mate thats normal grey/black smoke means its running rich ie cold start.......
the reason its nothing to do with oil seapage is the smoke isnt blue.......
if the smokes blue thats burning oil.....
so my advice dont panic and forget about it.....also you would notice you would be loosing oil......:thumbup1:
