Amy Winehouse found dead
A shame, an interesting lady.
I still remember where I was, what I was wearing and the person I was with when Freddy Mercury died, for some reason I can't see the same happening with Amy.
She was a waste of space, to act the way she did, with people looking up at her as a role model?
"my heart bleeds"
Drugs are illegal, its about time Alcohol is made illegal.
Saraj She was a waste of space, to act the way she did, with people looking up at her as a role model?

reidy Absolutely agree
Like so many, I am saddened by this waste of a talented life. I didnt like all of her music but she brought something back to the industry that had been lacking.
All talk of banning substances is futile, drugs being illegal didnt stop her or millions of others.
The tragedy imho is that everyone will go through loss or worry or pressures that will try to and in some cases succeed in breaking you. Many many people have to go through far worse than she and other famous people endure every single day.. and they don't put themselves in the firing line for these pressures and they don't have the resources the rich and famous have to help get through it.
Life is short enough and for most people it will have a LOT of tough times .. at the end of the day a big factor in your survival or destruction is yourself .. you choose to drink, smoke, wallow in pity or whatever your mechanism is .. and it's you that has to find the strength to say ok, enough.. now i fix myself or get help to fix it ... it's not about blame, it's about responsibility
Well said purp
Like it's been said somewhere before sadly it's in our nature to destroy ourselves.

Bit of a shame but let's be honest she brought it on herself most likely.
What I don't much like is that it'll probably get more news coverage than the victims of the bombing in norway..
Things like alcohol and cigarettes probably would be more rigidly controlled today if they were newly discovered, but they've been around an age and so are a part of the overall culture, as a result those can never be banned totally. Besides the government makes too much money taxing it!
We're all responsible for our own actions in the end. Some deal better than others. It's a shame her life has been wasted yeah, but she's the one who wasted it.
