Hey Rabster,

Did you have the same issue of very low sound after fitting your aftermarket system? I put a kenwood double din in yetsterdat and I have to have the sound on 31 (max is 35) before I can hear anything also my sub and rear speakers arent working either???? My HU has 6 phono in for front LR rear LR and AV LR,
my iso loom only has 2 RCA's which I have put into the FRONT LR, any ideas how I can get the rears up and running with only 2 RCA plugs??
Also where abouts are you based Rabster if you could help installing a pc into mine??:whistling:

Mine has the BOse system in not sure if yours does ?

I Modified the headunit as its got a tape deck on it and took the audio direct to the processor in the unit so i still have the factory look but with the car pc still able to play ball

if you had the bose system and its been removed the speakers will be a bit fussy as they are Ohm matched to the headunit AFIK

when you say iso loom is this from the car to the headnit or from the headunit to the car ?

Im near stanstead mate

a crossover changes the signal path on the line level input to an amp this would have no efect on the output side of an amp which is where the Ohm matching comes into play AFAIK

It has the 2 LR phonos which I have put into my HU, as the front L R but there connections on the back of the HU for Rear LR and also SW?
Theres nothing coming from the Sub or the little rear speaker?
This is the spec from the website

* Video input signal automatic-detection mode

* System Q (Preset Sound Control)
* Dual zone source & volume control

Solved it rabs the yellow and black phonos are for the rear and sub!
Also are you still looking for a motorised cubby, sat nav screen and sat nav unit?
I'm thinking of taking my jap sat nav out and motorised cubby to replace with in car pc or centrafuse.

hey mate yeah im still looking for the motorized unit.....

yellow and phonos for the rear of course any one would have expected that lol why do these manufactures not stick a label on the cables i never know

IN car pc and centrafuse are the same thing mate.....

i can spec you a list of kit and talk you through the build process, you can then take all the photos and do a full write up we can then list all details here on how to do it all....

the best bet mate would be to get a new housing to hold the screen?
i can spec you a computer and mount the screen get it all wired up if you have an aftermarket stereo in the car and that has a AUX input on it then we can feed the audio into the headunit and take all the power feeds you need off of that, the com[uter can be configured up and working here but the last element of setting up would need to be finalised by you as after shipment some com ports may change etc due to final configurations etc

in effect only 3 wires to tap into plus audio
