Lexuslee Have got myself a tte full kit and am chuffed to bits with it, thanks chris 8 ) now just got to sort getting it on the car 8 ( any offers
Bandit's kit is one the very best out there too. I sprayed my entire kit black, as I knew I could never polish it to anywhere near the standard of his!
I fitted mine myself at JAE, with little to no experience, and it is actually not very hard. Though I did have some vital assistance from some helpful members at certain points. It took about 9 hours, but would have been a lot less had so many vital bolts and fixings not been snapped, rounded off, cross threaded or lost! Also I did not jack up the car or have any powered tools - both of which would also have saved a lot of time! One piece of advice: It might help if you don't drink all day! :lol:
I would help, but so far away! I'm sure some more local members can be persuaded to assist you though.

Ensure the belt I'd far forward on the sc unit as possible- u will see why
Fit the belt then the tensioner- it's easier
Ensure the cable bracket at the throttle body end is the right way around - look at pics of the Instructions
Solder or inline splice the connections for the black box don't scotch lok them.
Job done .

This showed up with a starting price of £3k, within a matter of days it was down to £2.2k.
Apparently the clutch had gone so they knocked £800 off the asking price.

Further to Stoney's post further up the thread about Gumtree.
This showed up with a starting price of £3k, within a matter of days it was down to £2.2k.
Apparently the clutch had gone so they knocked £800 off the asking price.

its an easy kit to fit i done mine in 2.5 hours but i have battery guns ilso fitted an other members in around 5 hours but their was greef with his but it all worked out in the end..
