If I'm not mistaken, SamB used to have a 1gfe with 1g-gte internals in it. You can always drop him a PM to confirm.
Edit: Also, could you not put a thicker head gasket on to drop compression a bit?

16-11-2018, 07:51 AM #12They are good things to have, someone was selling a 1g-gte/1g-fe hybrid engine on driftworks a while back which fetched quite a bit.

16-11-2018, 07:55 AM #13SamB you say defin worth a message then mate these pistons seem like gold dust lol just found a thread on here aswell they defin do fit and they are low compression aswell perfect for turbo always gd just need to find out what sort of boost you can run with these fitted thanx for your help mate!

i got a full engine and a half for £100. always good to have a spare
