Lovely looking car you've got. I just have to ask, does it say Lantis anywhere on the car? If so, would you mind taking a picture of it? In Swedish lantis means hillbilly or yokel. I would love to show my friends a picture of a Mazda Hillbilly Type R :tongue_smilie:

I dont think I have any of the lantis badges left on my car. All I have is the original Mazda sticker in the drivers door that says it is a Type R. But you can always show them this

I get that all the time. But when you actually get up close you can see the wings are quite different. Also I am not sure how true this is but the prototype design for my car came out in 1990 and Ford started their talks with mazda in 1992. Then in 1993 the cossie came out sporting the same style whale tail as in the mazda prototype design (as all other ford whale tails where only half the height of the rear windscreen before). So because the Cossie is better known everyone thinks mazda copied ford but was the other way round lol

Hey Mark. How you doing? Yeah quite a lot has been done in the time I have owned her. The brake button is a Cusco drift button and actually came off of Chi's car.

That reminds me I will get the video of acceleration through the tunnel up

Hey im doing good, looking forward to see progress of your car, not that it needs alot more doing to it, mine on other hand progress bit slow just little bits here and there for now!!
