thanks again deckie.

Ive got a problem though, i went to start the car just there and it wont start. Gives off that ticking noise when the batt is flat (the gauge is reading about 9volts) It also happened after i fitted the monitors, but i just assumed it was coz i had left the ignition on for too long. i cant be draining the power surely as i spliced into the pink (+ve) wire for the cig lighter.

Can anyone shed any light?!
Thanks
Mo

howlong did you leave it before trying to jump start if it was down at 9v you will need to leave it a little while connected before trying to jump only like 5min max

There's a chance your battery is on the way out, and you drained what little there was in there when you were trying things out last night ? Cold weather had a bad effect on failing batteries. Is the battery old ?

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Clicking noise when turning the key, starter solenoid????

Is there enough power in the battery to put lights on full beam??? if there is then the battery may be fine, but after having ignition on for fitting the monitors then battery being dead would make sense.
