Moley I emailed all the sellers who are breaking is200 on ebay and no one has bonnet for sale Confusedad:Confusedad:

Yeah me too, Lexus want £300 for the bonnet but thats my excess. Problem is I dont think the bonnet would fit anyway without other work being done Sad.

I'm just glad I have a plan now and have made the descision as it was quite a stressful one to make. The bright side is that someone else can enjoy a charger now.

Everything will still be in one piece for the Ace Cafe Meet though Smile

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).

Hey, new chap here, have you looked into a claim with the MIB??? its a scheme set up where insurers pay in & they pay out to people who are hit by uninsured drivers & people who dont stop & report, worth a look i suppose, Good luck

good shout!

the excess that you have to pay towards the claim with the MIB is £300.. so still a nasty payout but may work out cheaper if the damage is as bad as you think??

Sorry to be the party pooper, but the MIB scheme seems to only cover damage where you can at least identify the vehicle that hit you, i.e. (my emphasis) :

Quote:The 2003 agreement applies in respect of accidents on or after 14 February 2003 and consideration will be given to property damage subject to the accident being reported to the police within 5 days or as soon as reasonably possible and the offending vehicle is identified. Claims will be subject to a £300 excess.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

The other thing with the MIB it can take years to sort out.

So any idea what you want for the charger or ARB's?

40mm Lowering Springs, Re-sprayed Front, 6000K HID's, Re-furbed alloys, Bandit Induction Kit (cheers Chris), Raised boot spoiler with LED, Blue calipers with silver decals, De-badged rear, Chrome Oil Filler Cap (thanks to Chris again), White LED dash bulbs, Blue a/c control bulbs, Blue door markers and interior lights, Sony head unit, Chrome Lexus tax disc holder, TRD side skirts, Original Saloon Front Bumper re-fitted instead of Sportcross

Hey guys thanks for trying to get me to keep it all as it is. Think the supercharger will be coming off the weekend of the Ace Cafe meet as my insurance is up the next wednesday...........so if anyone feels like giving me a hand that day would be very kind of them. Otherwise i will probably strip it the day after.

Will probably drive the car NA for a month or two and then move onto something else. Really looking for something cheap to run but still fun to drive around London. I was thinking about something like a Leon Cupra but I think that will still be too much for me to run atm. Having had a look around, and bearing in mind I really want to stay Jap, what I'm leaning towards is........now no one laugh........a Yaris T-Sport.

Very cheap to run - quicker 0-60 than a stock IS200 and actually has a more practical load space (would only buy 5dr). What do people think? (Please don't be too abusive :p)

Supercharger now in for sale section.
