Yep having nav is useful, and makes the dash look better imho.
However there is always the option of replacing the headunit (which will inevitably fail anyway) with an all in one double DIN nav unit?

lexynik yeah im not keen though - i like it the way lexus made it look and dont use cd,s anyway as its all on iphone/pod/flash drive so easy enough to integrate
Yep I agree with you, I've got my ipod playing through my car kit so never need the cd player anyway so it's all fine :thumbup:

lexynik i was just lookin at the £4k one and it looks like its got the early type wipers rather then the aero ones so i presume it hasnt got fanjets either-does anyone know what year all these bits kicked in on a 300 ?
The IS never had the aero single blade wipers as OEM fit - you'll have to fit those yourself if you want them.
2001-2004 had triple jet washers, 2004 onwards had fan jets

Funnily enough it was the GS450h that I was looking at as a potential swap - but still not sure I'm ready to part with the IS, it's been such a great car it doesn't feel right replacing it with something that I don't feel as strongly about.........it's more a decision of the head than the heart :confused1:
