steviewevie Cool, great work ! Loving the red launch control button !

What's happening with your boost issue that was identified on the dyno at Santa Pod, you said you were getting that looked at ? Don't know if that's best off in a new thread rather than this one about your toys ?

well he had a look at it but determined that the turbos are prob at their limit, and as they're designed to work at 0.8, so peak at 1bar thern leak back down to their optimum level.

So hes prob teased a few more horses out with a bit of mapping adjustment but gonna have to change turbos to get the next power hike.
It does keep boost in the lower gears though so its all good for "normal" speeds.

dimis So Stav, what is the brake output of your car now?

264 i think it came out at @ JAE but its since have a few little tweaks of the map.

Marsdendean Hi Stav.

What does the Launch control do (i can guess but would like a propper explanation) and what does the blitz is scanner do?

Well basically it holds the revs at around 4500rpm even though your foots right on the floor so you dont have to balance the foot.
But also it has anti lag built in. When you are at standstill and you rev a turbo car, you wont get any boost because theres no load. So this retards the timing as well so the gases get very hot and so you get boost at standstill.
Its not very good for the turbos, but in short bursts its fine.

Then when your speed goes over 0mph the ecu sees it and allows the revs to rise.

Hope that explains it.

Stav

what brand of anti lag and launch control you using???
love anti lag but it absolutely kills turbos as my mate in his liner has found out at least twice lol
