Even my older model (s9600) still goes for around the £150 -£199 area?

The 32gb card you can get new for under £20, and for a fuji case about the same mate, the camera new from jessops is £249 but can get them for around £220 if you shop around? and they seem to go for around £170-£230 on ebay with a memory card and case?

Is that the one that now has autofocus while videoing? If so interested to hear how effective it is, also whether you can hear the lens motor in the video

Not sure you need class 10 to be honest, I've got a class 4 and haven't had any problems filming 720p video.

The D3100 uses listed SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. Memory cards with an SD Speed Class rating of 6 or faster are recommended for recording movies. Movie recording may stop unexpectedly when memory cards with lower Speed Class rating are used
All site I have visted have said you need at least class 6 sd cards for the video on this camera.

The thing that's really important is the brand of card though, stick with Sandisk if you weren't going to already.

Interesting, although I think I read that recommendation somewhere with my camera too but I haven't had any problems with class 4. But they could have changed the compression on this camera so a class 6 is probably a good idea, but I wouldn't bother with the extra for a class 10 as it probably won't make any difference.
The thing that's really important is the brand of card though, stick with Sandisk if you weren't going to already.

Gord Well went into work last night and the driver had dropped it off with one of the lads, very very nice bit of kit, he saying he only wanting £150 for it, so i think i will have it, as some of the other lads will if i don't.
Will report back on how it works
