2tongues Surly a paint stripper heat gun is a more sensible way of doing this, then you don't risk damaging the headlight?
there is no risk if you do it properly either. a heat gun doesnt work properly as you need a uniform heat across the complete length of the headlight sealant bead to be able to pull the lens away in 1 go.
