Keep the nipple closed on pumping and then hold pedal to the floor, loosen nipple for a second whilst holding pedal down and then re tighten,
carry out this procedure for at least 5 times per wheel, KEEP an eye on the fluid level/
Only time the nipple is opened is when you hold the pedal on the floor
Never have the nipple open with the pedal on the upwards stroke, unless you have prper bleeding tools, that is a pipe with a valve in it
well just been told that the master servo is leaking now, looks like the seal has turned inside out, so thats why the rears arnt bleeding, does any one know of a seal kit for these
wasnt doing it before but stumped as to why its doing it now
guys have any of you had a master cylinder go before , just finding it hard to believe as was fine before
nope and ive been in the trade a long time.....you just need to bleed the brakes correctly...if i was near you id come and do it right now....
Aparantly there is a leak coming from it as they used a power bleeder but when I pump the pedal I can't see any leaks from the master cylinder at all but have tried manually bleeding it. Tried with a draper pressure bleed and the garage tried pushing it through
their will be no visable leaks the master cylinder leaks into the servo....
we have been told never to use the power bleeders....we have a tool that sucks the fluid out the nipple
That's what bleeder I have. A draper one that draws it through rather than pushes it. I don't know what else to do getin ****** of with it. Managed to get a second hand master cylinder for 24 pound delivered so fingers crossed
ormi we have a tool that sucks the fluid out the nipple
