Nor can I... For to pay off the credit card first... Then I'll be buying more bits
More parts ordered
New wheels... Needs repolishing.
And bought a IC panel with the supra logo embossed in it.
Also bought a bit of interior bling...
St/St heater rings, knobs and climate control panel covers.
And a HKS 3" decat pipe.
Mmm.. parts
Just after that last post... The Supra began to play up... Overfueling, spluttering, no power and cutting out.
Not a happy girl
Had to get her trailered home
Only just fitted on!!
Got it home... But as you can see... It was running a bit rich... (That's about 12quid worth of V-Power )
First thing I chaged out was the Coolant temperature sensor for the ecu.
It's seen better days... It fell appartvin my hands..
After changing it out with a new one I re-set the Ecu but it didn't have any effect.
Then a friend sent me a link to a forum, with a bloke with the same problems... I was advised to replace my ECU with a new unit...
So I looked on the MKIV Owners club and picked up a replacement ecu delivered for £30 ... Which I was not going to grumble at.
It turned up this Morning... 10 mins later the car was running better than ever.
Extremely smooth and without overfueling and no hiccups... Well 60 odd miles later... 1/4 tank of fuel gone... It's running like a dream.
So happy that it was a quick and easy and the best bit... Cheap fix...
Tax has now been removed (as of tomorrow)
I can now crack on with the BIG SINGLE TURBO conversion
Happy days!!
Glad you got it sorted so cheaply mate
Cheers bud... Hopefully we have good weather this week do I can get the supra cleaned up and winter prepped so I can fit the new Stormforce car cover
http://www.coveryourcar.co.uk/stormforce.htm
Not cheap... But it's a hand crafted 4 layer car cover designed to fit the supra.
Also picked up another bargain... A HKS Type0 turbo timer (white LED light up screen)
More toys to play with
Yer all is good.
Very happy
All wrapped up to protect from bad weather.
I've also made a start on polishing the new wheels
