parthiban All I can say is WOW! That is absolutely stunning, fantastic work there - I love it when the attention to detail to get everything perfect is so high! How long did it take to get all that done?

And the integration of that PC screen into the dash looks brilliant too, looks like it should have come that way from the factory.......

Thanks for all the kind comments guys. Big Grin

The car has been parked at my mates garage since September and I have been going when I can after work and almost every weekend to do little bits and pieces to it. It has taken a lot of time and losts of travelling to get bits and pieces for it. Apart from Gord and Nads (and the lads at the garage) all my other friends still have no idea! Will be good to suprise them - I did talk about Evos in general with one a few weeks back and he said the he was too old for a car like that(he is 29!!).... he will get a surprise.

I purposely wanted the PC screen to look factory fitted. Most people install a 7" touch screen but looking at the dimensions of the opening of the double din adapter I thought an 8" one was worth a go and so it proved. It fits better then a 7" one would have and obviously is much easier to see small text with it.

Regarding prices. I honestly haven't added it all up, but just to give you some ideas. The prices I remember are £650 for the remap and dyno time, Metal Forge Dump valve £230, £200 just for the genuine vortex generator (normally £240 + vat), AMS Intercooler £400 (normally £650), HKS Induction Kit (£190), Carbon Front Lip (£300), these are £550 + Vat normally, Sideskirts and the other carbon bits not mentioned are bordering on about £1000. Exhaust system around £600. Ralliart Gear Knob £55, Turbo Elbow (£90 bargain!! Normally £252 brand new)....HKS EV6 Boost Controller £350 (mint but used....normally around the £500 mark....err thats all I can remember for the moment but loads more yet like the springs, gauges, antiroll bar, cameras, car pc, even the full service and then even gaskets and o rings etc all add up etc..........

The worse thing about it is keeping it safe. Evos are one of the most nicked cars about and I do keep it blocked in all the time at home but it is worrying the stories you hear on the MLR (EVO Owners club)……. In fact I have not even revealed the car on there. This is the only place for now. I also need a place to stick my Outlawjapclub Sticker on Smile

Don't know how you kept it secret for so long, must have been hard work!

Are they really that high risk, are they easy to steal or is it a carjacking risk?

A few years back my mate with an Evo 3 had it stolen from him at gunpoint :confused1::confused1:

Got to be very careful! :Bazza:
