edeath I think the Blueflame is the best bet for you. It is noticably noisier than stock but no obnoxious in any way.

The Pr0lex one I have is similar to that.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:

i goy my y pipe today got a question though, is the over hang correct that it just slides into the back box end of the exhaust so to keep it tight?
question for jim, you got the toyo hp y pipe correct? if so has yours got an o2 hole in the y pipe as i didnt think it should have one, but mine does? so will need to get a bung to block the hole?

Yep, the IS300 has the last o2 sensor half way down the right-hand part of the Y (before it merges into one pipe).

My toyo one had 3 sensor holes...but thats another story lol.

ok cool, yeah i knew that the sensor was located in the y pipe had to replace it about 2 years ago when it went funny, will find some bungs to cap B1s2 and B2s2, and the other 2 sensors should just screw in and work properly is that correct??
i have an afr gauge in the dash but as i didnt install it not sure where the sensor for it is located or shoud be moved to? have you got a rough idea?

Hmm so you had an AFR installed by someone, but you're not sure where they put the sensor?

Could it be that its a narrowband gauge and is taking its reading by piggybacking the signal from one of the existing OEM sensors?

If its definitely a wideband then I'd expect that they would have installed it somewhere in the downpipe, as anywhere else would have been a lot of hassle to get to.

AFRs need to go as close to the header merge as possible. So they are getting readings from all 6 cylinders, but the air's still hot.

Its a tough one, because until the Y pipe merges, you will only be reading from 3 cylinders.

I've got mine installed directly at the point where the Y merges so I get a reading from all cylinders. Its quite far down the pipe, so probably lags a little behind and has a slight loss of resolution. But its good enough to be an early warning system for serious tuning issues imo.
