you need the numbers from the block they are stamped on the block where the sump is bolted on then there is a set of numbers on the front of the crank where the crank pully bolts on and also the numbers off the rod caps

Things done :- SPC turbo kit (custom), Blueflame cat back with custom tip, B&M shortshift, grooved discs all round, Mintex pads all round, OEM wheels in white,Denso ik22s, Calipers painted black,04 spec rear lights, Tein basic coilovers, Helix organic clutch, Fan washer jets, late spec headlights (dark), Carbon bonnet, Hotchkis anti roll bars, Front arm rest, Top box from late spec.

The 1G-GTE pistons and rods are cast, not forged. Having said that, they have still been well-proven at much higher bhp than those of the 1G-FE. I have them in my engine, because of the lower compression ratio (better for turbo setup) and proven reliability.

1.0 bar.

Personally, I've come to think that the whole "maximum amount of boost" thing is a red herring, if viewed on its own. e.g. If you had an unfeasibly tiny turbo running, say, 10.0 bar, then that might put less strain on the engine (i.e. less air being blown through) than a massive turbo running 0.3 bar. i.e. because the boost level is just a measure of the air pressure, and the overall air flow rate is more important.

Theres a guy in aus that is running a 1ggte at 500 hp with std rods and pistons!!!!!

and yes they are not forged ive had my rods made stronger!
