Now will England stop playing ego's and play players that perform for there country.
Dawson had a good season and don't not get a kick.
We should of picked some of the youthful players to gain some minutes out on the pitch like Hart Dawson Agbonlahor
Maybe it is time to think that we may of invented the beautiful game but we can not play it.

Wonder how many postion England will drop in the FIFA rankings.

For god sake get rid of the extra Refs and buy some goal line video's

Its the same every competition

We do awesome in friendlies and qaulifiers but come competition time the manager bottles it, BIG STYLE

I mean 20 minutes to go, were 3-1 down and could possible save something, so who does he bring on? Heskey, ******* heskey what a waste of ******* space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its about time we had a englishman at the helm who understands the english mentality of football and how our players work, then we will a trophy

Roy Hodgson? - hmm did well with Fulham, but not sure hes international material

Harry Redknapp - HE IS GOD - (im not a spurs fan, just an admirer)

Cappello needs a bullet between the eyes, the man aint got a clue,

Wether lampards goal was over or not, we didnt deserve to win, we played poorly and without spirit

Its about time we picked players who have the heart to do something instead of wonder around the pitch like over-paid pre-madonna's they are.

Rooney - should be blacklisted from the england squad, a striker that fails to score in 4 international matches???? rubbish

Lampard - Fails to score in TWO succesive world cups (bar his dis-alowed goal)

Gerrard - waste of space

Ashely Cole - way past his best now, why play a defender thats just going through a divorce FFS

Terry - Shouldnt of even been on the plane

Barry - Never good enough, never will be

-----------------------------------------------------------

Crouch - 5 goals in 3 games, and ahrdly appears at the world cup??? WTF!!!!

Bent - second highest scoring englishman last year and isnt even on the plane???

Lennon - left on the bench for the most important game yet

Walcott - Never made the plane, im ot surprised, but he's still better that SWP

Joe Hart - hasnt conceded a goal at senior international level yet, and he doesnt play???

Dawson - would run rings around terry all day

I'm not a football fan, and I think it's fair to say that losing 4-1 was not good at all but I don't think people are making enough of the disallowed goal. We started poorly and conceded a silly early goal, but then came on really strong and scored one, and then another in quick succession. With that momentum I think we would have won quite comfortably but that disallowed goal really demoralised the team.

I know it shouldn't be an excuse and they should have picked themselves up and fought back, but that goal was so clearly a goal it was ridiculous! I think even the second bounce was in the goal.

My question is what's going to be done about that? Why is there no uproar about it? It made me furious and I don't really care that much, the ref and linesman should be sacked and personally I think there should be some action against FIFA.

Why on earth can't they have hawkeye or some similar device to analyse this sort of thing? Is it because everybody in football in essentially a moron and this tech would be a step too far?

Now my rant is over

^^ Lol

the only person who doesnt want goal line tech is the Fifa president (cant remember his name now)

EVERYBODY ELSE, including referees want it.

I mean, they say it will disrupt the flow of the game to much, but if you have a guy being a video referee as in Rugby Union/League then play can resume and if it was/wasnt a goal, was/wasnt offside, was/wasnt a penalty, he can then informt he ref who can drag play back to the instance, it only takes 5 seconds to review it???

They reckon that once you allow technology for the three reasons above, then it will be wanted for fouls, throw ins, corners etc.

I personally believe the technology should be used for 4 key areas that can change a game

1) - a goal obviously, where its not clear-cut for the ref, video ref reviews and informs
2) - goal resulting of a strong offside appeal (like the argentina goal last night), goal stands for 10 seconds until the video ref informs the on pitch ref
3) - penalties, penalties are almost a goal as not many miss a penalty, but can be quickly reviewed prior to the penalty being taken, and if it wasnt a penalty then award a goal kick
4) - sending offs, reducing a team to 10 men can be detrimental, and the time the team argue with the ref and the offending player argues with the ref can easily be used byt he video ref to review the tackle and inform the on-pitch referee should he be wrong

If video tech was introduced, then what would we have to discuss, go on rants about, take the pi$$ about or argue over??, all us football fans knowing better than ref's or managers & being able to do what professionals cant is what makes football so involving, for me anyway, you've seen how Andy Gray & his slow mo replays pick up every fault, 1/2 yard offside or hand-ball missed, i wouldn't want that at all, if used at all i think it has to be for ball croosing the GOAL line only and leave everything else to the ref's. JMO

and I was flamed on this very site for suggesting such technology, not even 6 months ago......... See I was right.

4-1 good score to the better side.

Who to blame??? THE PLAYERS, The press go all out for the manager, but the real culprits are the players, the press won't attack the players because of the about of money their story's make and without some sort of cooperation between the players and press there are no story's. Its all about the great £.

They shouldn't be able to use the video tech too much, I think they should have 5 or so challenges like they do at Wimbledon. That way it doesn't waste too much time but stops stupidity like yesterday. It's ok if it was close, but this was so far in the goal and twice!
