Attempted to fit new braided oil hose to oil cooler, only to discover the hose internal diameter isn't big enough. So either I ordered the wrong hose, or the hose is smaller than it should be, no way of knowing however. Fun!

If everything seems fine, you've probably not grasped the gravity of the situation.

I had a fairly irritating day. Decided to get some work done on the RX7's electrics. Built a fuel pump circuit that didn't work. Spent ages scratching my head only to discover that it doesn't have a f**king fuel pump. The joys of buying a 'complete shell minus engine & gearbox'...

Although thinking about it I did actually get quite a lot done, the Nissan has been converted back into a car (it spent a week being a van) and it's got stereo in it again now. Just needs the outside cleaning and it's ready for JAE.

Bought a "radio expander" so I can listen to something other then Radio 2 in the Soarer.

"Life's goal is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But, rather to skid in sideways........
totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

Rewired my fuel pump relay. Tried to take the Lexus to work this morning and had a very lean engine. Had to be the main pump.

So checked tonight and the crimp had broken to the relay, new crimp and voila!

Took My car in for its NCT (MOT) yesterday, I passed, but it cost me the price of 2 pre used tyres to get it through so the cash had to come out of my vacation money that was gonna be used for a few goodies, however not all is lost it means i can tick yet another box on my pre vacation checklist of things that needed sorting...
