hi Rabster, im after some ignition coils going cheapish, just had to have a engine fitted after cooking the last one and in doing so, messed up a couple of them so need to replace them

people have managed to get some good priced ones on Ebay lately as it goes mate, what damage did you do to the last one...

The rad went while driving on the motorway, trc light was flashing so tryed to nurse car home, ended up doing more damage, head gasket went and cos the engine was so hot, melted some of the plastic that bolts to it,so had another engine fitted but mechanic told me a couple of the coils need replacing cos shes running real lumpy, eurocarparts are selling them for about £55 each but was just hoping someone on here may have been breaking one and picked them up cheaper, i was on my way over to ilford today to pick 6 up for £100, but the guy phoned me when i was nearly there and told me car was a altezza so wrong parts :-(

depends which altezza it was mate ...

as im sure they use same engine on some variants....

he told me it was the yamaha engine so was different as it was only a 4 cyl

would be different then as u have the 1gfe, this would have the 3sge
