Well i had a good luck at the car today,

Took some of the water side off the engine and resealed it all and so far it seems to have cured the leak.

Had a look at the gearbox as well and no sign of a leak, thinking the car may have been so low that the seal was strained where the prop attaches, its an odd one but all seems well at the moment.

Also had it drop the back end on me for the first time lol, my own fault though booting it in first round a corner from traffic lights lol. Completely dry though and it stepped out.

Right some more investigations tonight.

Still had a bit of a leak on the water system so last night i parked it outside the house and went out an hour later to see if there was any puddles. Oddly the puddles seemed to be inline with the back of the front wheel.

Some more noseying about and discovered the issue!

The pipes that lead to and from the heater matrix in the car had to be bent when originally fitting the engine as the rear turbo fouled it. No these have been fine ever since but it appears one of them has now fractured and thats where my leak was, the reason the water is dripping where it was is because its running down the engine side of the firewall and under the car!

It also explains the leak i saw at the petrol station on the way home from JAE that i thought was gearbox fluid because of its position!

So anyway tonight i disconnected both pipes and joined them together, thus eliminating the heater matrix completely. So while it means i wont have any heat in the car till i fix it, it *should* completely fix my leaking water system.

I will remove the matrix this weekend and put some new pipework on it to cure the problem.

Also today my new part arrived. As you know ive changed most of the interior to black and i have some sports recliners to fit in the front.
Welll been struggling with frames to fit them. I got some seat mounts from James S from a "S" model but when i hacked the drivers apart and mount the seat i sat too high so needed another option.

Well i spotted a Bride seat mount for sale the other day so i immediately snapped it up.
It arrived today and after a little widening and stretching of a couple of holes, and flattening of some bolts i had the seat bolted up and in the car.

The height is spot on and the seat holds you in so much better, well impressed.
Just need to take it back out now, and copy it as much as i can for the other side lol

But if anyone of our European members knows of a cheap seat subframe for a Altezza/IS200 for the Left hand side let me know!!
