What to do? Any idea's?
Hi Everyone,
Just after a bit of advice really as im not too sure what to do.
Friday Sarah had an interview at the Cafe at my work and she was offered a job there and then. She now starts on the 1st November as Cafe Supervisor on more money than she was on before and working for a better company that will really look after her. I have been trying to get her a new job for ages now as her current place really takes the **** and she works so hard with hardly no apreciation.
This will mean that we will be car sharing to work and will more than likely just use the Yaris as its great on fuel. This will leave the lexus just sat around doing nothing most of the time and for some reason if its not used for about 2 weeks the battery goes dead! With this in mind i have seriously been thinking about selling up and getting a new toy! Im 27 and the lexus is only my second car so thought maybe i should try something new?
I have seriously been looking at the mazda MX5, probably a mk1 but maybe a mk2. There are a couple of really nice examples currently for sale and i am looking at maybe getting one. Im still really unsure about what to do though? i quite like the lex but feel i will just be using it to keep the battery topped up.
If i do sell the lex then i want to buy another car, rather than just save the money as the money will just get put towards a house or spent on the buggy then i will be stuffed if we ever need another car.
Any help people?????? AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHH hock:
Thanks for your comments,
Jason
Well if you are not going to use it mate just strip it of parts and then sell it on
I'll have you're coilovers , rear lip and plate :p:p:lol:
Moley you can have dibs on those parts if i sell, although my mum may want the plate for her IS250c?
Ian, i would love a S2000 but i just don't have the money for one. The mx5 im looking at is £3000 and im sure i can easily make that for the lexus, if not a little more?
I have the house savings so in theory i could buy the MX5 now and then strip the lexus/sell it as a whole then repay the savings. I should be able to get at least £3k for the lexus right???
Jason
Jason just sell the buggy and keep the lex
I know it was not an option Jason , just thought I would say it to wind you up iscoStu:
ill have the short shifter what else is going :whistling:
If i was you i would also go for a S2000 i was looking at one earlier this year as a new toy although there not cheap and you would need to put some cash in to buy it it would be a worthwhile investment i think
the choice has to be what you really want, have a good hunt around and see which model does it for you dont make any quick decisions though you may live to regret it
