Supra dials redlining - literally

toxo I think it'd look a whole lot better if they weren't blue to start with (I hate blue dials!!) and if it only changed the rev counter, changed the speedo when that got past say 120mph, etc, to function more like warnings
purplewitch That would either drive me nuts .... or I'd be testing it ever ten seconds and blow up my car

DaveEdin hock:hock: What's wrong with blue dials? Look better than when they were orange in my car anyway :p

Heh I know what you mean, there is rather a lot of glare in the supra...
Mine look nice and bright, with the needles perfectly visible as well (pic's a bit rubbish, my phone camera's fault)
As with all mods though, some will like, some won't And I like, which is all that really matters in the end
Could be worse, you could've fitted those hideous visual performance / el glow dials
You can see exactly what I mean about needles from your photo. As you say it's a cack camera phone shot but where is your rev counter needle? Speedo needle gets dimmer towards the end (common problem with changing colour actually).
It's there  pointing at around 800rpm... It's perfectly visible to the eye,but I took 4 shots with the camera and none of the buggers showed the needles to any great degree... You can hardly tell where any of them are in the pics though...
 Looks good to me when driving though...
lol thats great, i would have it in mine lol
I'd take a guess and say they have been done with RGB LED's but only using the pins for red and blue, how they get it do change though I don't know. Probably linked to an aftermarket rev limiter of some sort.
And I'd definitely agree with those who have mentioned the LFA dials!
