toxo I would think twice about measuring the resistance across the airbag. The LS400 workshop manual I have says that doing that will set it off. There's a whole page long warning telling you not to do it Wink

i cant read i only pay attention to pretty pictures :offtopic:

Your right, most new multimeter measure resistance by sending a small current through, this MAY set off the airbag.

I have an old multimeter at work that doesnt do that and should be safe to measure the passenger airbag, will get one tomorrow and measure my spare airbag.

thanks man. will need to find were i can buy the right resistor as we dont have shops like this here

no mate we dont. and it's very hard to order bits from here. most places need to be a business account holder. i will have to look on ebay

and i cant get round the swedish of this type of stuff. it's ok ordering food and beer but have a problem with this type of stuff

yes mate. and to be honest old habbits die hard. i order most things from ebay uk and not much from sweden as i always go back to what i know. like car clubs aswell, member on the swedish loc and the uk loc and here and my is and club lexus in the states but most of my time is on english sites. just lazy or find it easy to get what i want
