Could this help pass MOT emmissions with decat?

ormi theirs two mesurements taken first one's taken with the car up to temp and reving between 2500-3000 rpm then the second one is taken at idle....
some cars will pass some wont......example mine and moleys have no pre cats he couldnt get his to pass the emmisions and mine sailed through....
You still have the main cat though, right ? Because jimxms was asking about a complete decat.

yes mate it was just a example of how some engines run cleaner than others....so yes you might remove the cat and it pass the emmisions but then again you could remove it and it not..

Marsdendean Off topic slightly but how much is it to De-cat the pre-cats
depend if you know someone who can weld,
remove the manifold, cut it open, scrape the cats out, weld it back up.
I have a quick change cat, a section with 2 3" vband clamps, undo them and put the cat in instead that has the same flanges on.

no,, who???lol....you'd be better cutting them out as a whole and welding in a straight bit of pipe..(for the pre cats)
