Am I the only one that likes the oem colour dash, I think blue is so old looking, maybe 5yrs ago when led lighting was in its younger days

04-11-2017, 09:49 AM #4yer i think it must be only you mate. the orange was all good untill i did my dvd unit and then it was all blue on blue and orange. went all blue so it looked the same. but the orange reminds me of bmw. blue is like vw

this cluster is from a 3s SXE10, that revs to 7000+ maybe you'll have better luck
hmm this will be interesting, i tried this with a cluster from a 2jz-ge AS300 (the JZs rev to about the same 6200 rpm so the tach is the same) but it didn't work with the 1G. maybe i missed something.

04-11-2017, 11:15 AM #7yer fix the needle so it looks like it goes up that high. but there will be a lot of work to make it all work. wont be pluging it in to see if it works untill i have checked the wires

I had the same issue with my new speedo:

But thankfully my LINK G4 ecu runs the tacho so i just adjusted that so it gave 66% (fools it to think its 4pot not 6pot) output to the tach and its spot on now.

04-11-2017, 11:36 AM #10Also i think 2 tongues got an adaptor for his IS when his tach was reading low cause he went down to 4 pots but when i looked the werent cheap (about £80) so was glad it was built into the ecu and only required a couple of mouse clicks
