yep aerial into the blue auto antenna lead, you may also have a remote lead if not, its the same thing!

the amp isnt so hard, again if you take your time.. remember to remove the ski hatch cover.

You shouldn't really be able to damage the aircon unit. Just take the connectors out of it carefully, not doing anything silly (i.e. levering the connector itself and not just yanking the wires themselves lol). I'm sure it'll be fine.

Replacing the head unit initially seems like it's going to be hard, given all the bits you need to remove, but it's really very straightforward. You can of course ask on here if you get stuck or are unsure about something.

One other thing is that a new head unit might have an illumination feed, so that it can dim the head unit illumination when you turn your lights on. It's not mandatory to wire this up, but if it does have this function and you do want to use it, then you can just tap into one of the existing illumination wires in the dash - I will put up a separate thread on this.

It was pretty easy to fit except for that bypass lead lol that amp is one hell of a ****** !!

Im happy with what ive done so far sorry for the long delay in reply ive been knocked out with this swine flu this last week Sad

I found the bypass lead pretty easy when i did mine Smile did you have a look at the walkthrough on here for doing it? Smile
