So here I will try to post up News about my new Impreza.

First of all, a Picture that shows how I got the car:

It´s a 98 Subaru Impreza WRX Sti Type R

- Forge Blowoff Valve
- Kato Alloy Wheels 18 inch / avon tyres
- Kenwood 2-DIN Radio (Bluetooth, USB etc.)
- a complete closure alarm and immobiliser
- Prodrive suspension
- Brembo Discs
- Enginerebuil done by API

It also has the STI Floormats and factory gauges (volt, oiltemp/pressure and ofcourse Boost)

[IMG][Image: imag0176edit.jpg][/IMG]

So the first thing i´ve done after it´s arrival in germany was to fit the STI Foglightcovers:

The STI Decals on them will be fitted within the next days.

So, what next ? Yeah that was the question in my mind, but I need a little help with it.
I thought alot about a setup that would fit my needs and was realistic as a student.

Air Induction:

Many discussions about that, so what is your opinion ? Stickin to the original STI solution ? Or an open filter like apexi or anything else ? What do you say ? And where to get it ?
If openfilter, than a solution that works good, nothin just for the look that suffers from hot air. It has to work as "performance" part.

Exhaust System:

Same as Air Induction. Stickin to the nice STi Exhaust ? Or maybe just change decat pipe, uppipe and stick to the STI Catback that is stock ? Or a complete other exhaust system, and then...which one ? Prodrive ? HKS ?
(should then be a little louder than the stock STI but nothing to heavy)

Which would work best ?

And remember..I don´t want to get 400HP or something. Just a faster spool up, a little bit more sound and ofcourse helping the STI to show his true "stock"-power.

I don´t want to change the exterior, as I like the STI-look. So the only planned thing is to get a Version 5/6 rearspoiler instead of my small one.
Maybe some new rims as I don´t like them best. But we will see.

So come on ppl, let me know your opinions and help me showing the germans that subaru is a nice sportcar.

Greetings

René

I rather like the rims you have on the car already, they really suit it

Enjoy the new motor, I look forward to hearing more from you as things develop...

Yesterday I picked up my STI at TopSpec Imports in Germany, and the car saw it´s hometown for the first time:

Today I made the first minor change to the car, it got his STI Decals on the Foglightcovers Wink

The only thing I can tell about the Performance is:

WOW !
