Rabster where is best to inspect it your place or mine i have various bits here for testing here
hi andy mine would be best place as i dear not drive it anywhere at the moment feel to scared to drive it.i have toolbox etc here but i only have a volt meter on the electrical side.
sorry to be pain in backside but i just dont know what to do.

i do have a workshop manual disc downloaded on my laptop from tigerfish .

What happens when you lock/unlock it by the manual rocker switch in the car??

hi i unlock it by key when i bought the car there was no remotes.when you press button inside you hear central locking lock and unlock but when shut door and use key only hear noise when unlock.ran up car yester day started it up this morning and it only just started.all i can do at the moment is to start it up evry day to keep battery up.just went out to car unlocked door pressed inside button it locked then straight away unlocked.i have now locked car manually as i dont know what to do next.dear not take battery lead off as i dont have any key fobs or radio code.

sounds like the battery has a low voltage and its just under the threshold for low battery if its got the same system as mine the idea is to open the doors to enable the user get in and start the car before a deep discharge if u check the voltage it will be arond the 11 volt mark which is just enough to start that particular model.
