Chri5 I see what your saying Jay.
Didn't realise it was that far away tbh.

Patric I'd love to move there tbh but I have a few problems
1 my mrs wouldn't like to unfortunately Sad
2 I can't speak Swedish Sad
3 -46 doesn't sound appealing lol

Do you have any pictures in the snow???

1 she would love it when she sees it - its beautiful and all the people are welcoming and friendly - very family driven. All the shops you could want also - except KFC...............
2 nearly everybody speaks english - Swedish is not hard to pick up either, there are even government courses to teach you and their free, in 6 months you will know enough to get about and enjoy!!
3 -46 is chilly........ yea thats a killer but only in the far north, not in the main populated areas. Just wear proper clothing and your OK.

The nissan would be OK because you would have a winter car. Remember Jay drives his IS200 to the far north every year to see family.

totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

The coldest temperature we've had outside our house this winter is only -29 :tongue_smilie: Right now it's around 0 degrees. Most people abroad seem to think that because our winters are quite cold our summers are as well but during summer we've usually got temperatures around 25 to 30.

If you visit Sweden you'll realize you won't have to speak any Swedish to get along as most people here can speak English Smile

I drew you a map:

As Jay said, not anyone could live in northern Sweden but if you're looking for an adventure it's very pretty up there. I visited Abisko last april, that's pretty much as far north as you can get in Sweden. Population: 85. Here are a few pictures my sister took:

Chri5 Do you have any pictures in the snow???
Unfortunately no. I've hardly taken any pictures at all this winter since I haven't unpacked my computer yet, where I usually store all of them.

I took a picture of our driveway though

me and patrik are about 5 to 6 hours drive away and my son lives up there were you dont want to be and i drove up last winter and it took me over 22 hours winter driving. took me 18 hours from here to Switzerland in the summer. and you can still keep driving another 5 hours north to get to the top.

That's some road trip lol
I can imagine driving that amount of time in the snow would be both physically and mentally draining. Especially as we as a whole struggle to drive 5 miles in the snow lol and then say we feel drained lol

I've added a few spot lights in the kitchen Smile The one to the left isn't connected yet. I have to figure out a way to hide the wire.
