Blackberry's
Blackberry's
This is true, and it is something i would like
But int he whole time ive had the video recording app on my iphone (about a year) ive only used it once and that was to test it after i bought it
The screen im not bothered about, it will show still images perfectly fine wether its websites or photo's ive taken and im not one for watching movies on my phone that require a HD screen, only things i watch on it are youtube which are usually **** qaulity res anyway
Im sold, and shall be upgrading end of March
I can't see the screen resolution being a major problem because the screen is quite a bit smaller - but I haven't seen one so can't say for sure.
It really depends whether the blackberry stuff is useful to you - if you don't need a blackberry you're much better off with something else, as this phone costs quite a lot for pretty mediocre specs.
I know you have a problem with the aesthetics but I really think the HTC desire is the phone that ticks all your boxes at a far lower cost.
But if you want the torch, get the torch as I doubt you'll be disappointed
I have been on a blackberry torch, the new OS is very slick and I sort of like how the menus are laid out compared to the old one.
But, the screen is quite low res, but, it's what you want James!
Lol this is it, i have oodles of time at work to research stuff and look into tings
the torch really does tick all the boxes, its quite aesthetically pleasing, has all the apps i need, and even though it has a tiny processor RIM are notable for getting the ebst out of it, i can also hook it straight up to my works emails exchange which is a bonus (iphone wont let me )
once i ahve it i shall do a mini review
The work email thing is interesting. Exchange has the functionality built in (called Exchange Activesync (not to be confused with desktop activesync which is used by Windows Mobile devices)) for Apple, Nokia and Android devices to connect to it. Blackberry functionality is provided by a RIM Enterprise Service which is a very expensive add on. Sounds like your work have bought the very expensive add on and not enabled the built in functionality which would've cost them nothing
Erm not a clue on what work do with their standrad issue blackberry curves, but all have email enabled
I can access my work emails via webechange on my iphone but its a naff system lol (apparently im not important enough for a company phone)
