Honda Integra
Honda Integra
The Integra is a front-wheel drive car made my Honda/Acura to compete with hot hatches like the Volkswagen Golf VR6. Although the car was available in various versions, the DC2 Type R version remains the most poplar Integra. It was manufactured between 1997 and 2001.
At the heart of this car is high-revving 1.8 liter engine that employed Honda’s VTEC system. The engine produced an astonishing 197 horsepower and 133.8 pounds feet of torque. It could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds. The engine used in the car is a thoroughly modified version of the B18C1 engine found in the GS-R version. It has redesigned engine head many other improvements, which all resulted in a higher power output and an extended redline and improved refinement at high rpm. The Type R Integra has a torque sensing limited slip differential that drove the front wheels. It also had a number of modifications that aided the handling of the car by a large extend.
