False bottom is the way I would do it, very easy and neat, with easy access if need be.

Isn't he talking about the one in the far left though? As in the one just past the extractor? I thought that's what he meant by hiding the cable, there's no cupboard there due to the extractor so there's nowhere for the cable to go.

I need to make my way past the extractor without the cable showing. It's easier to see what the problem is in this picture

Depending on the thickness of the wire, one option could be to carefully carve out the grout and run the cable through there and then re-grout over it - it's not an ideal situation but could work if the wire is thin enough.

Since they only transfer 12V I could however replace the cable with a smaller one but I'll look for other options first.
toxo What it needs is a time machine so you can lay the power cable behind the tiles before tiling the wallYeah, or I could just get one of those wireless power supplies
