Pulled over??
Pulled over??
I go about 1/4 mile up the road still with the police car attached to my rear bumper, come to a wide bit of road with a parking area looking for a space to park, blue lights start flashing in my rear view mirror so pull over!
Two officers slowly get out and walk over and say?? Hello Sir do you realise your car is quite loud and its attracting attention from passers by?
I say yes i know its quite loud as it has a big exhaust and a supercharger fitted? the woman officer then says you pulled away pretty quick at the lights and we could hear you a few cars back? I then say yes i got up to 17mph so did well being as i was in traffic (starting to get bored now?) she'd now got a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp? the other officer says its a nice car but could i keep the noise down a little when i go through town on my way home? as passers by are stopping to look at it and i may cause an accident
hock: Me now gob smacked started to laugh and said if that's all i'll be on my way, the male officer says have a nice day puts his hand up and waves me off? :blink:
Do you think they were bored??? :Chair::Chair: I couldn't believe that's why they pulled me over, found it quite comical and probably made more noise going back through town than i did on my way in? :laugh:

Went up to Wales on Saturday, took the family up for a drive out for the day? driving through Llandudno pulled into the middle lane at some traffic lights and waited for them to change to green, pulled away and drove through the town at about 15mph in traffic? came to an island went round and accelerated away up to around 20-25mph (traffic again) Police car comes screaming up behind me and sits on my rear end

17-01-2018, 08:09 AM #3Haha we got pulled over too 950yards away from meeting Jim and they told us our insurance and MOT were out, after a ring to the insurance company and found out about the tax (vosa?) we were on our way, once again just though they were bored with nothing better to do.

just found it funny mate, the speed they came up behind me was the best bit, thought i was on fire or something? and they probably had more people watching them than i did? hock:

A.. they thought it odd you were not wearing the required Hoodie
B.. they were annoyed your LOUD exhaust would upset the sheep,giving them a headache, thus causing hassles with some locals that night
neaky2:C.. they were a pair of useless "jobsworths" who thought this may be the chance to get in on the filming of "Hot Fuzz 2"
D.. they resent anyone who is getting more attention than themselves

Maybe it would have assisted the sheep with the lambing - therefore being of use in the countryside

HAhaha thats quite funny. Are there actually any noise regulations on how loud a car is? If there is and your car doesn't breach them then there is absolutely no reason they should have pulled you over...
