Hey guys,

Not to sure about this but when I press the auto window button the drivers door the window goes to the top then back down to half way and stops?
I've tried holding the button for 15 secs when the glass goes to the top of the door but then I try it again and it does the same thing??

Anybody else know how to reset it so it just goes to the top and stops?

Check your window channels mate, as you might have a bit of dirt or something in them, and its thinking its trapping it so comes back down again?

Does it go up and come straight back down, or does it get to the top, wait a bit and then come down?

Having had extensive problems of a similar nature with our old Merc it could be a window regulator fault, try what Bandit suggested first though as it could be a simple fix.

Just ran my finger along rubber seal and was just a bit dusty but nothing major, window still going up and down. It seems to hit the top on auto then come back in one movement, its not getting to the top then stopping then going down, its a continous movement of the glass going into the seal then back down to halfway, it goes down to the bottom on auto no problems though

its an obstruction being detected, make sure your rubbers and window channels are clean and free running
