One of the reasons they've gone for the boxer engine is that they're (supposedly according to the sales gumph) trying to concentrate on its handling, and boxers are perfect as you end up with an incredibly low centre of gravity.
Plus cost savings from pooling resources with Subaru. The concept ver of the Subaru car looks pretty ugly IMO, it's much rounder. I know which I'd rather have.
Yeah we really need to wait for the 'G' spec one, it's definitely going to be N/A in its first form.
