and as that the steering rack is right at the bottom so i can get at it from under the car if i undo the bolts that attach it ,it will give me enough room to get the old ones out and press the new ones in

had my steering rack bushes replaced today and the knocking noise is still there, i heard somewhere the steering rack has a pretensioner,is this true?
and how do you adjust it?
