It would easily hit 7K should you re-build the engine and go for forged internals etc...........
My conversion was £4750 and included a re-built engine and a huge amount of other things.

2tongues Far to much work IMHO, I looked at the Celica GT4 4WD system when doing my swap but it was an incredible amount of work and money to do.
If you started with a JDM 4WD Sportcross (Gita), then you'd already have a 2JZ-GE, you could potentially swap that for a 2JZ-GTE then things get really interesting ! Only problem might be that it's auto-only, don't know how much power that transmission can take or if it would mate up ok to the 2JZ-GTE ?
