Guys,

I'm wiring up my wideband at the moment and after realising that the o2 sensor comes up through the drivers side seat I've had to change my plans on where to put it.

I'm now going to mount it behind the drivers footwell, but I need to know a place I can pick up IGN and GND from.

These wires look beefy enough for the job but I'm not sure what ones to tap into. Any ideas?

Red - ACC
Blue/Red - Ign1
Black/Red - Ign 2

Any of them will do for ignition

as for ground, any screw to a metal part will do.

Cheers mate. Is there any difference between tapping into IGN1 and IGN2? I just want it to be on when the car is running.

Also is there any wire I can tap for ground? I've looked EVERYWHERE under the dashboard and there's nowhere metal I can get a decent ground on.

I thought I'd found a ground when I checked with my multimeter, but it turned out to be the starter motot (OOPS) because the car continued to crank when I started it!!!

HELP!!!! (before it gets dark outside)

you will have to poke poke about with multimeter then,
connect the red lead to a +12v positive source and probe with the black lead, when you show +12v on display you have found a good earth point with you black lead, but be careful double check it ain't the door pin switch as you will loose the earth when you close the door
