The MR2 was a total nightmare to live with, the slightest knock was devistating to the body so we ended up just not using it, then sold.

She was great to drive, but that wasn't enough to keep it.

Mike keep the Supe, or sell it and buy another one that is a little easier to live with, please don't lower yourself to a Skyline (unless its a GT-r).

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Mike this is criminal, sure I like R34's but nothing comes even close to a supra, the power, the tuning capabilities, the sound and most of all the respect you get from people of all ages when you drive it around people don't think your some chavy urchin...you just don't get these things with a Skyline not to mention the difference in insurance costs which is insane (well for me it's over triple that of a supra).

If having a show car is a little too much why not sell the yellow one and go for something a little more road friendly say standard looks with a RMM lip?

DaveEdin The purple supra? That's just one of a whole bunch of pictures of it too...

I should be safe though, she'll be hunting down whoever did all that to a supra in the first place

If you want to see just how bad that is, click here...

Will have a look at this Dave when the site is up, he should be put away for ruining that Supra

Rabster i have a simple solution for you mike

1 disable the PM features on all the forums you use (thus stopping people pming asking to buy)

2 take it for a nice long drive go visit some lovely sights and get some cracking pictures of it

3 i think banzai were interested on doing stuff on our members cars talk to lexusboy or Demon regarding this and im sure we can get it in a mag very soon

4 DO NOT SELL IT!!!

Good idea about the Pm, i will be giving her a really good clean and going to take her out for a spin this weekend.....

Maybe we should have a get together this weekend ????? !!!!

purplewitch I read this at 3am.. and again at 4am... and it broke my heart.

Mike if you've read my thread in the supra section about why I love my car I wonder whether you feel the same about yours when you see her/drive her? I think you do because if you didn't you equally wouldn't have been so devastated when you found the cat scratches. As stunning as your car is, I have wondered how you cope with it being too perfect for regular use, infact you influenced my plans in a big way when we met at Ace the first time. I always said when I first bought my TT that I wasn't fond of the kit on it and when it got its overhaul I would get it all smoothed out. When I saw how yours was smoothed out and realised just how far up the bodywork they have to go to smooth out the smallest piece, I realised just how major the impact of a minor knock would be and the widespread cracking of the fibreglass that would follow and this is what makes it impractical for everyday use. I knew I couldn't possibly A) not drive her most of the week in the short enough season of suitable weather we have here and B ) justify spending that kind of money for a driveway ornament. I wonder whether your aim, once you have your mag article (and its so worthy) could be to make it something you could enjoy more often.

I get people like a change (well actually, from a Supra? no I don't get it) but from a Supra to Skyline? You are Insane !! ( Forget silver shiny things, make sure Vickis next present to you is breakdown recovery)

LOL

Thanks Sam

I know what your saying, Im sure this urge will go away once i start using it again and going to meets/shows etc

Your right though, any slight damage can be costly due to how the car is but i would not change a thing on it as i love the look of it, The car is back from the body shop now so its A1 again lol they had to paint allot of the car again though due to there is no lines on the car anymore. As you will find out, fresh painted cars are just a worry as you dont want any stones chips, bird **** etc on your paint work.

Even just driven mine on the road im scanning for pot holes and bumps etc as my car is VERY low and the Do-Luck bumper is very easy to damage !
