Looking at getting 4 snow tyres in the summer with the hope they will be cheaper then in the winter, wheres best to look for a set, doesnt seem to be much on ebay

Yea snow/winter tyres are the same thing.
They are also great for deep mud.

Yea snow/winter tyres are the same thing.
They are also great for deep mud.

im just unsure about spending £400 on them then there stil **** in the snow! do they really make a difference in the snow on the is200?

I could not handle stuffing my Lex :angry:

it wouldnt cost £100 for me to insure a car though, and i dont think theres many decent cars for £100

Instead of being worried whats going to happen when you park it in a car park or driving in winter time .

Snow tyres are AMAZING, In Bulgaria I was driven about in a 5 series BMW in 1 foot of snow, no chains and it was still solid to the road, the Prius overtook a land rover that was stuck in the snow this last winter, Jay + Patrick in Sweden drives their turbo/SS Lex on snow tyres without a problem.

Get the correct rubber and driving in snow is not an issue.
Your £400 investment will last 4 or 5 winters (thats less then £100/winter), so why bother getting a cheap car that will let you down when investing in your current car is so cheap.
