OK so im thinking of giving the car a going over after all the work its had on the inside in the past week thought i might treat it to a bath.

i looked at the door shuts and they are :Sulk:

so what do you all use and how do you do it

I know Christian uses APC can i get something similar from Helfrauds ?

if so how do i use it i know i cant jet wash the door shuts lol :Fish:

im guessing spray mixture on agitate with a brush and then rinse of with a spray action nozzle or similar...

as for the door rubbers just treat that with autoglym stuff ?

i use some degreasing foam as it gets in all the areas and expands then brush or sponge worse areas and that does a good job, then use a damp towel and rinse off, hey presto shiny door shuts

Rabster Is that the same for the hinge areas mate ?

yeah for all the difficult areas i use foam and it helps with getting rid of alot of built up gunk then get any remaining dirt off with a damp sponge or cloth from the bucket with the shampoo in it and wash it down and then spray some quick detailer to shine it up, helfods sell loads of types of cleaning foams mate just pick which one suit best job.

I use Stardrops from Asda 99p, at a 4:1 mix with water.
Spray the door shuts and work it in with a detailing brush (or a pastery brush from asda!) then just run water over it from an opened ended hose pipe or watering can!
