New Toyota FT-86 (new Celica ?)
I've read on autoblog that its going to be 200bhp N/A. That just looks like a baby supra though!
150 bhp did seam a little low on power - even Toyota wouldn't release a car that useless. 200 would be OK to start with.

The MK1 Mr2 was light and didn't need a big engine - like the MX5.
The IS200 was never supposed to be a sports car its an entry level small exec saloon.and did what it was designed to do very well!!
This New Toyota is supposed to be a toy therefore 150bhp is stupidly low.
My "source" for the 150bhp statement is Ormi...
yip the info we have is its a 150bhp n/a boxter engine.....but the turbo one will be a lot more..
Unless its a very lightweight car 150BHP is not enough ffs Celicas had 190 BHP and were still sluggish.
A lot of talk over the torque of the car thats going to be in the region of 150, but to do that the BHP will have to be 180+ maybe 200BHP.

good article - the target is to beat the VW Scirocco so 200BHP makes a lot of sense.
Marsdendean ^^ Why not thrash it and go for the 250BHP figure, then it will beat the likes of Seat Cupras, Audi S3's etc etc which all will end up similar price
