Rabster At the end of the days guys what they lack in knowledge helps bring people to other forums like this one people go where the knowlege is

The natural assumption that the site in question would be the place to go is understood but as we have seen numerous times the lack of respect for the long standing members speaks volumes.

But the use of false advertising on gold members is wrong but shows just how desperate places can become.

A forum is only as strong as the members it has this club knows it that is why I'm proud to be a part of this club and will support in any way I can

BOOM! :Overkill:

said it one tbh

The gold members thing is interesting. There's a guy called Maurice who breaks / resells LS400s. He's been a gold member for years and years but has only ever paid once.

It appears the link between their paypal process and their forum group membership is bust, and no one's noticed

They'd have to be pretty daft to do that, with no one paying their ludicrous membership fee every year they're just doing themselves out of money, which will always lead to the club being shut down. We lost loads of membership money on the club I run when our paypal link broke for a month or two.

IMO OCJ and LOC appeal to totally different readers/markets. The fact that a lot of OJC's members came from LOC originally should be put aside/forgotten in order for OJC to continue to grow and succeed.

It's a bit like dwelling on what happened in a place you used to work, rather than getting on with your new job.

OJC: Keep doing what you're doing, because you're doing it well. Don't even bother to look back.

That's all very well but although there's quite a few first generation IS owners on OJC there aren't that many IS250 owners, so chances of selling my bits and bobs left over from my IS250 ownership on OJC is slim. Could always try fleabay I suppose.

IS 200 Sport with a few mods, Standardish IS-F. The IS250 SE-L with a few mods has gone to a new home.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
